Hi, I’m an Interactive Media Developer.

It started off with a love for game making and slowly I begin to enjoy experimenting with different ways of presenting and interacting with content. The projects I am showing on this blog display that interest.

I have worked with sensors, projector projections and tools such as mouse and computer keyboard, a laser pointer and even shadows to interact with both off-screen and on-screen content.

Below is a brief introduction about me:

When I was a child, I learnt to love games under the influence of my brother (3 years older). Since I was about 7 or 8 years old, I have been playing games from hand held consoles to video games on the television. Boy, do I love it. Then I was wondering back then “how are these games made?”

From then on, I had a dream like most boys at my age; to be a game designer/developer/programmer when I grow up. I began to check out game design courses and harass my brother to teach me programming (did I mentioned he’s a programmer?). He found it to be a hassle to teach me and then I began to learn stuffs on my own. I built my first animation when I was in secondary school (cool huh? lol)

After my secondary school studies, I enrolled myself to a course that teaches multimedia technologies (design/animation/programming etc etc). That was the first official practice I had to become an interactive media developer. I was thrilled. I began to learn things like softwares I haven’t really fully understood when I play around with them by myself.

And then long story short, here I am, in the School of Art, Design and Media, continuing my path to be an interactive media developer as well as a games designer. And for now, sit back and wait for my latest awesome posts! Thanks! Good day!
